That\u2019s how Janne Kaija, Project Manager of the VireVihre\u00e4 and VALO project pair at the Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 Educational Consortium Gradia, described the Vestel high-power charger we installed in August at Gradia\u2019s Lievestuore campus.<\/p>\n
Wennstrom handled the delivery, installation, commissioning, and user training for the electric charger in the project. The delivery was coordinated by Jani Lehto:<\/p>\n
\u201cThe collaboration with Gradia went really smoothly, and thanks to good preliminary planning, the installation was trouble-free. The Vestel charger is the first of its kind in Finland, so I hope this serves as a great starting point. Vestel chargers stand out for their cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality. The charger is also very user-friendly and requires minimal maintenance,\u201d Lehto explains.<\/p>\n
The Vestel EVC03 Sirius 160kW charger is used at Gradia not only for charging but also for research purposes \u2013 in many different ways. Valuable data for the transport sector is gathered, for example, by using the school\u2019s new electric truck and the charger under real loads and in actual local conditions. The commissioning of the charger has involved many parties around Gradia, from local transport companies to financiers, and from students to the university of applied sciences.<\/p>\n
\u201cEverything in the procurement went really well, and everyone involved in the project has been very satisfied and enthusiastic. Of course, it\u2019s only been in use for a short time, but based on the experience so far, there\u2019s nothing that comes to mind that needs improvement,\u201d Kaija states.
